Anonymous asked: since when do you do drag?
Ive only done it twice! thats why its not like im a drag queen! Its just nice to do like every month, when things feel repetitive.
Anonymous asked: why do you dress in drag?
I was waiting for someone to ask me this!
Okay the only thing I can compare it to is a LONG long relationship… OK..
So you know in relationships how after being in one for years you start to look for things to “spice up” your love life with your partner? And once you do its extremely exhilarating and you feel that spark with your partner you once had?
Thats how it is for me in drag kinda, not saying im going to be a drag queen or anything! But I am well known in Hillcrest (gay community in SD) and I like it don’t get me wrong but going out is just SO repetitive! I wanted something new, different, and exciting. And drag kind of does that! you get a different kind of attention, people praise you for your makeup, the clothes you wear etc.
Drag is an artistic outlet, there is something about doing makeup and “changing” ones appearance that is really fascinating to me.
